NIHR Chairperson Congratulates the Wise Leadership on the Occasion of the Anniversary of the National Action Charter

On the occasion of the twenty-second anniversary of the adoption of the National Action Charter, Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Council of Commissioners, the Secretary-General and the Secretariat-General staff, raised the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Great Monarch of the State, and to Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Alderazi Stated that the Charter has established principles of justice, equality, democracy and the rule of law on the one hand, and respect for the principles of human rights on the other hand, and worked to guarantee many civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights and freedoms, and that it had the greatest impact in strengthening the qualitative position that the Kingdom of Bahrain has reached to be among the ranks of democratic countries.

Alderazi expressed his deep pride in this precious national occasion due to its importance in promoting democracy that is based on principles based on the rule of law and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, which are observed by the legislation in the Kingdom of Bahrain through any law issued, as a system of just governance, emphasising that the work of the NIHR today reflects the firm foundations of human rights principles stated in the Charter.
